Ezra S. Gannett
Ezra Stiles Gannett (1801–1871) was an American Unitarian minister and theologian who served as co-pastor of the Federal Street Church in Boston, a prominent pulpit in nineteenth-century American religious life. A leading voice in antebellum Unitarianism, Gannett engaged with contemporary political and social questions through a theological lens, as evidenced in works such as *The Religion of Politics*, which examined the intersection of Christian ethics and civic responsibility. His intellectual contributions helped shape the liberal Protestant tradition in America during a period of significant theological and social transformation.
