Author
Nathaniel Chauncey
Nathaniel Chauncey (1681–1756) was an English Nonconformist minister and theologian whose pastoral and polemical writings defended Presbyterian and Independent principles during the early eighteenth century. His work *Honouring God the True Way to Honour* exemplifies his concern with practical divinity and the proper conduct of Christian worship outside the established church. Chauncey's theological output contributed to the broader Nonconformist intellectual tradition during a period of relative toleration following the 1689 Toleration Act.
